Tui Nature Reserve Conservation Park in the Outer Pelorus of the Marlborough Sounds

 

Tui Nature Reserve is located in the Marlborough Sounds, top of the South Island in New Zealand.

Our Wilderness Park is part of an isolated peninsula in the Outer Pelorus Sound. The only way to get to Tui Nature Reserve is by boat. The wharf is located in Waitata Bay. You can arrive by Mail-boat from Havelock or we can pick you up on our daily tours from Havelock or Elaine Bay. See also: getting here.

When you arrive at the wharf in Waitata Bay we will have a 4-wheel drive vehicle waiting for you to take you over the hill top to Tui Nature Reserve, which located 180 meter above sea level.

Picton - Havelock via Queen Charlotte Drive: 45 minutes
Picton - Havelock via bypass: 40 minutes
Picton - Blenheim : 20 minutes
Blenheim - Havelock: 30 minutes
Christchurch - Blenheim: 4 hours

Havelock - Rai Valley : 20 minutes
Rai Valley - Elaine Bay : 55 minutes
Rai Valley - Duncan Bay: 40 minutes

Rai Valley - Nelson : 45 minutes
