How to get to our 'mainland island’ in the Marlborough Sounds

Boat Cruise Pick Up from Elaine Bay - Duncan Bay - Penzance
We can pick you up with our boat the 'Tui Experience' from Elaine Bay at a cost of $49 per person one way, or $15 per child one way. Group arrangements and pick up’s from Duncan Bay and Penzance are available on request. Minimum of two adults.

Mail-boat from Havelock - 'The Environmental Friendly Way'
The Mail-boat leaves from Havelock on Friday only at 9.30 am. Stay at Tui Nature Reserve and leave on the following mail-boat trip. If you like, we can organise the mail-boat bookings for you. Cost $50 per person one way.

An unique way to to the Marlborough Sounds is to travel by floatplane. It leaves from Picton or from Wellington, Porirua. We advise people to arrange a back up travel plan incase the weather is doubtful so you can still travel to your destination.

Sounds Air has daily flights to/from Wellington and Picton.
Closest Airport is in Blenheim which runs daily flights from Christchurch / Auckland / Wellington etc.
