‘Falcon Retreat’ wildlife park accommodation

The 'Falcon Retreat' is suitable for couples, families with older children and groups. Experience as many activities you like or relax and enjoy the views and birdlife.

A brilliant place to enjoy the birds flying past and view the stars fill the sky at night.

Cabin 1 Sleeps up to three people, with one double bed and a single above it (trio bunk). The cabin has a small seating area that can be heated with a gas heater in the colder months. Bathroom facilities are available from the living area.

Cabin 2 is suitable for two people and has an en-suite. The cabin has two single beds and a small seating area that can be heated with a gas heater in the colder months.

This is truly a remarkable building.
Located about 190 meter above sea level, looking out over a large part of the Pelorus Sound and the bush of the nature reserve.
It has a view to remember.

The kitchen between the two cabins can be opened which makes you feel part of your surroundings. In front of the cabins there is a large picnic area with a barbeque and picnic table.

The kitchen comes with a small gas fridge, a four burner stove and includes coffee(maker) and tea. Plus the necessary kitchen items such as; sugar, oil, salt, pepper and some herbs.
Both bathrooms have a shower, vanity and a flushing toilet. Books, dart board, and play cards are available.
The Solar Power is 12 Volt, this runs the lights, the electrical toilet, and a charger for mobile phones and laptops.
Beds have duvets, linen and towels provided.

Summer tariff (1/12 to 30/04 includes Easter) :
3 nights $395 per couple
4 nights $495 per couple
7 nights $695 per couple

Extra Adult - $15 per night
Child - $7.50 per night

Not rented out during the winter months

The ‘Falcon Retreat’ is self-contained but catering options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available.

When you arrive by the wharf you will be picked up by the Kawasaki Mule that will take you to the top of the reserve, where the accommodation is located. Your pick up and rides to and from the beach are complimentary.
